Ox-Eye Vineyards, owned and operated by the Kiers family since 1996, produces 100%

estate wines from their Shenandoah Valley vineyard. Ox-Eye’s higher elevation favors

cool climate varieties such as Grüner Veltiner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Lemberger. Ox-

Eye also produces several Champagne styled sparkling wines. Ox-Eye Vineyards

Tasting Room is located in a historic building at the northern terminus of Rte 252 in

downtown Staunton. Enjoy a glass of wine on the covered patio and listen to the trains

go by.

 Twisted Pines Farm and Vineyard is bustling with wine, vines, bovines and more!  At Twisted Pines Farm and Vineyard, winemaking is an art.  We pride ourselves on crafting wines that are just a bit outside the box in the hopes that our guests will find a few that make them go 'Wow!'. We believe wine should be appreciated and enjoyed but never taken too seriously. After all, it's often best when paired with great company during the none too serious moments of life. What better way to create one of those moments than by joining us amongst the rolling hills for a glimpse of farm life and a taste of our handcrafted wines.  Above Ground Winery has been crafting Virginia wine since 2010. Located at 2,100 feet, it is one of Virginia’s highest-elevation wineries, and produces wines only from this vineyard. The 7-acre vineyard on the dividing ridge includes Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Petit Verdot. Guests will observe the winemaking process during their tasting experience, guided and served by the winemaker. The views from the vineyard of Little North Mountain are spectacular in every season. Each sip tells a story of the land, and every palate finds its perfect match.

 Jump Mountain Vineyard is a family-own  farm winery that produces hand-crafted wines from grapes grown on the property and nearby farms.  Located in scenic Rockbridge Baths between Staunton and Lexington, the tasting room offers stunning views of the vineyard set at the base of local landmark Jump Mountain.  Guests are served by the owners/winemakers, who are happy to offer tours and answer questions.  Outside food and pets on leash are welcome. Open weekends 12:30-5 p.m. April-December. 

Lexington Valley Vineyard is a family owned and operated farm winery established in 1999. Located just outside Lexington, Virginia, the tasting room is open most weekends year-round and features wine flights, wine by the glass or bottle, our ever-popular sangria, and snack baskets. Guests are also welcome to bring their own picnic and enjoy the beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley from our tasting room, outdoor deck, or the expansive lawn. The tasting room welcomes families and well-behaved canine companions.
